South Mississippi Regional Center has supported people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities since 1978. Our programs are administered through the Mississippi Department of Mental Health for people living in the six southern counties of our state. South Mississippi Regional Center supports Mississippians with intellectual and developmental disabilities, using a person-centered approach, by promoting active partnerships to enhance each person’s quality of life and independence through choice of living, working and learning.
